On Sunday 1st Oct 23 was conducted a Troops Tactical Level Exercise “KLAPADOS-23” by National Guard Units of 98 ADTE with the Participation of National Guardmen of Cyprus within the framework of “PARMENION-23”. TAMS “KLAPADOS-23” is a Company-level, dual-activity exercise of defensive and offensive operations in urban warfare with the aim of training the National Guardmen in the modern battlefield.
The action was carried out with complete success, within the framework of the GES-GEEF National Guard cooperation, contributing to the upgrading of the operational capabilities of the National Guard Units, the promotion and upgrading the National Guard in Greece and Cyprus and the further development of their strong long-term ties.
The participation of all the National Guardsmen in this exercise was voluntary, which practically proves their interest and love for the institution. The Cyprus mission was hosted by ADTE and was guided to places of historical and religious interest.
